On June 13, 1974, the USPS issued four different stamps commemorating American Mineral Heritage. The four minerals appearing on the stamps are Amathyst, Petrified Wood, Tourmaline, and Rhodochrosite. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with all four stamps cancelled from the city of issue (Lincoln, Nebraska) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a close-up of all minerals. Historic, collectible, this is a beautiful cover celebrating four beautiful, colorful stamps.

Double matted in green & white, this piece is sized to fit a standard 8 X 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
