On August 17, 1984, the USPS issued a stamp to honor the memory of Baseball legend and humanitarian, Roberto Clemente. Clemente became the 3rd Baseball Player to receive a stamp, following Ruth in 1983 and Robinson in 1982. Shown here is a a full-color photo print of Clemente joined by an uncancelled, collectible US stamp issued on the first day from Carolina, Puerto Rico.
