Richard M. Nixon....

On April 26, 1995, the USPS issued an In Memoriam stamp to honor the 37th President of the United States, Richard M. Nixon.  Every President is honored with a stamp within a year of their death and usually on their birthday. Nixon is an exception.  He died April 22, 1994 and was born January 9, 1913. (I'll let you do the math.)  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Yorba Linda, CA.) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features newspaper and magazine headlines and signs depicting events in Nixon's presidency. Unaddressed, historic, collectible, this cover is a great piece of U.S. Presidential Memorabilia.

Double matted in blue & white, it will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity included***
