Richard M. Nixon.... On August 9, 1974, the 37th President of the United States, Richard M. Nixon, left the White House after having resigned the presidency the night before in a television address to the American people. Shown here is a genuine Commemorative Cover with the postmark "freezing" the date and place (Washington, D.C.) where this event happened. Remember that on a commemorative cover, the stamp serves the purpose of supplying current postage, for without it, the post office would not cancel.
The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a line drawing of Nixon. Unaddressed, historic, collectible, Postal Stamp Art is proud to offer this great piece of U.S. Presidential Memorabilia.
Double matted in blue & white, it will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.
