On October 10, 1961, the USPS issued a stamp to commemorate the 5oth anniversary of the revolution which led to the establishment of the Republic of China in 1911. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Washington DC) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features Dr. Sun Yat-Sen as well as the Chinese flag as it appeared in 1961 and the American flag.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
