Red Fox... On August 14, 1998, the USPS issued its 3rd stamp to commemorate the Red Fox. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Washington DC) on the first day of issue highlighted above.
The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a red fox in the snow, his long tail dragging to wipe out his footprints.
Historic, collectible, great artwork, this piece is double matted in green & white and will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
