On June 8, 1996, the USPS issued a set of four stamps commemorating four different Prehistoric Animals that once roamed North America....the Eohippus, Woolly Mammouth, Mastodon, and the Saber-tooth Cat.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with all four stamps cancelled from the city of issue (the USPS Station at the Canadian Stamp Show in Toronto) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope) features drawings of all four animals.  Historic and collectible, this is a great piece of postal memorabilia celebrating the wildlife between the dinosaurs and written history.

Double matted in green & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
