Traffic Safety....
On September 3,1965, the USPS issued a stamp to call attention to Traffic Safety. Shown here is a genuine First Day Issue, an envelope with the stamp depicting a traffic light with the words, "Enforcement - Education - Engineering," cancelled from the city of issue (Baltimore, MD) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features Traffic Policeman, a divided highway and a city in the background. Historic, collectible, this is a great piece of Police Memorabilia.
Double matted in green & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
