Pittsburgh Steelers - Heinz Field.....
Spectacular Heinz Field, new home of the legendary Pittsburg Steelers, is joined by three uncancelled, collectible postal stamps. On the left is the 1969 US Football stamp. In the middle is the 1999 US stamp honoring the Pittsburg Steelers, winner of four superbowls in the decade of the 1980's. And, for that reason, is why they have their own stamp. In the USPS Celebrate the Century series of 150 stamps - 15 for each decade - the Steelers were chosen as one of the 15 events to represent the 1980's. On a sheet of these 15 stamps, there was only one of each, making this particular stamp very collectible. On the right is the 1957 stamp commemorating the centennial of the Steel Industry.
Matted in black, it's sized to fit a standard 11x14 frame.
