On April 23, 1976, the USPS issued two stamps to honor two musical instruments - the Saxhorn and the Drums. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp for the Drums cancelled from the city of issue (Miami, FL), on the first day of issue captioned above.
The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) features colonial musicians playing the fife and drums with the American Eagle above.
Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
