On April 19, 1979, the USPS issued four different stamps commemorating Pennsylvania Toleware. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with all four stamps cancelled from the city of issue (Lancaster, PA) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features another Pennsylvania tradition - Pretzel Making. The producer of this cover has also written a brief commentary on pretzel making and toleware. A copy has been made for you.
Double matted in blue & white, this piece is sized to fit a standard 8 X 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
