On May 17, 2001, the USPS issued a stamp to honor Charles Schulz and his entire cast of Peanuts Characters with a stamp featuring Snoopy on top of his doghouse as the WWI Flying Ace. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Santa Rosa, CA) on the first day of issue captioned above.  Note the special cancellation for this stamp!

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features Snoopy in front of his doghouse reading a letter. With a great cachet taking up the whole envelope, this cover is collectible, historic, piece of comic and animation memorabilia.

Double matted in blue & white, this piece will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
