In 1995 the USPS issued a stamp jointly with Palau to commemorate the 1st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Palau. Shown here is a genuine Joint Issue - Dual Cancellation First Day Cover featuring each country's stamp cancelled from the cities of issue ( Agana, Guam for the U.S. and Koror for the Republic of Palau) on the first day of issue for each country ...September 29, 1995 for the U.S. and October 1, 1995 for the Republic of Palau.

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a native Palau woman and the Abai - Men's House.  Known for its extraordinary marine life, the stamps portray native fish and a Triton's Trumpet shell.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
