On February 18, 1990, the USPS issued a stamp to honor Luis Munoz Marin, first elected Governor of Puerto Rico and distinguished leader. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (San Juan, PR) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a portrait of Marin, the Puerto Rican flag and a map of the island.
Double matted in green & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
