In no other piece of artwork, does an artist capture the contrast between childhood fantasy and adult authority than in the 1958 "The Runaway" by Norman Rockwell. Somehow you get the feeling that the policeman and short-order cook have been in the same situation as the young boy bent on adventure.
We've joined this full-color print with three uncancelled, collectible, historic postal stamps. On the left is the 1968 Law & Order stamp; the middle stamp from 1999 Honors Those Who Have Served. On the right is the 1994 Self-Portrait stamp honoring Norman Rockwell.
Matted in blue, with three separate openings, it is sized to fit a standard 11 x 14 frame.
