On May 14, 1981, the USPS issued 10 stamps commemorating North American Wildlife. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover for the Polar Bear stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Boise, Idaho) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a Polar Bear stalking seals on an ice floe. The producer of this cover has also wriiten a brief commentary about this Arctice predator, which we've included.
