On February 28, 1975, the USPS issued a stamp to commemorate the launching of the Pioneer Unmanned Space Probe to send data back on the largest planet in our Solar System, Jupiter. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Mountain View, CA) on the first day of issue captioned above.
