On July 8, 1995, the USPS issued a set of two stamps celebrating the Pear and the Peach.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with both stamps cancelled from the city of issue (Reno, NV) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features bushel baskets of peaches and a pail and a basket of ripened pears.  It's rendered in watercolors by award-winning cachet artist, Sue Allen.  This is one of her signature pieces in which she uses the entire lower half of the envelope as her canvas.  If your kitchen is screaming for a unique piece of art....this may be it!

Double matted in green and white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
