Squid.....
On July 28, 1983, the republic of Palau issed a series of stamps commemoration various under-water life. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp, depicting the Squid, cancelled from the city of issue (Koror) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features three Squid, curious creatures that hunt in pcaks, dart about by jet-propulsion and seize food with the two extral long arms of their ten tentacles.
Double matted in blue and white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
