"Oh, what a beautiful mornin'"........

On January 11, 2007, the USPS issued a stamp commemorating the Centennial of Oklahoma Statehood.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the full-color stamp, depicting a magnificent sunrise over one of its majestic rivers and the words, "Oh, what a beautiful mornin'" from the musical "Oklahoma," cancelled from the city of issue (Oklahoma City, OK) on the first day of issue captioned above.  The addition of four older stamps, cancelled along with the new one, make this a Combo, an extra special first day cover.  There's the 3 cents stamp celebrating the 50th anniversary of Oklahoma statehood issued in 1957; the 6 cents stamp commemorating the Cherokee Strip issued in 1968; the 13 cents stamp issued in 1976 depicting the State Flag of Oklahoma; and, finally, the 34 cents stamp with 'Greetings From Oklahoma' issued in 2002.

The full color cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) shows the Great Seal of Oklahoma, an Indian statue, and the words, 'Oklahoma Centennial 1907-2007.'  It's printed on silk, the luster adding an intense vibrancy to the colors.  Historic, collectible, this is a cover sure to please all proud people from Oklahoma.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
