In 2004, the island of Tuvalu issued a Souvenir Sheet (in this case a sheet of four stamps surrounded by extra artwork) to commemorate the Baseball Paintings of Norman Rockwell. They depict the Centennial of Baseball, the Rookie Red Sox, the Chicago Cubs Dugout, and Umpires.
The souvenir sheet is paired with a print of another famous baseball print by Rockwell....the Sportin' Boys. Souvenir sheets are produced in limited numbers and are meant to be collected and left intact. If you love baseball and the art of Norman Rockwell, this is a marriage made in heaven.
Matted in blue this piece is sized to fit a standard 11 x 14 frame.
