Nascar Tracks Print 3 Postal Stamps.... This photo print of Aerial Views of the fourteen NASCAR TRACKS is paired with three uncancelled, collectible U.S. postage stamps. The U.S. Flag with fireworks (issued 5/9/87)and the 1911 Racing Car stamp (issued 9/25/87) are joined by the Stock Car Racing Stamp (issued 5/26/99.) To date the Stock Car Racing stamp is the only US stamp commemorating NASCAR. Stock Car Racing was selected with 14 other events to represent the decade of the 1950's in the 150-stamp series called Celebrate the Century.
Each 15-stamp sheet for each of the decades had only one stamp of each event. Today, these sheets are in the hands of dealers and collectors. To get this Stock Car Racing stamp, the entire sheet had to be compromised.
Matted in blue this piece is sized to fit a standard 11 x 14 frame.
