On April 22, 1964, the USPS issued an imprinted envelope commemorating the New York World's Fair held 1964-65. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the imprint or 'stamp' cancelled from the city of issue (World's Fair, NY) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The color cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) shows the large globe sculpture, one of the symbols of the Fair, as well as its theme, "Peace through Understanding."

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
