On December 12, 1986, the USPS issued an imprinted postcard with an imprint or stamp to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the National Guard. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, in this case a postcard with the imprint or stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Boston, Mass.) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features the statue of a Minuteman printed on silk. Historic, collectible, this is a great piece of military memorabilia.
Double matted in blue & white, we've sized this piece to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity included***
