This black & white photo print depicting Mosby (fifth from left) and eleven of his Rangers is paired with an uncancelled, collectible 1951 stamp commemorating the final encampment of the United Confederate Veterans. Known as the "Gray Ghost", Mosby's Rangers with their guerilla tactics successfully prevented the Union army from blocking Southern access to supplies from the Shenandoah Valley.
