On June 11, 1992, the USPS issued a set of five stamps highlighting five events of the summer Olympics of 1992. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp celebrating Men's Volleyball cancelled from the city of issue (Baltimore, MD) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a game being played. The producer of this cover has also written a short commentary about the history of Volleyball, a much-loved game the world over that became a regular event in the Olympics in 1964. A copy has been included for you. Great art, unaddressed, this cover is a collectible, historic piece of Men's Volleyball memorabilia.
Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included ***
