Issued in 1977 during the playing of the Masters in Augusta, Georgia, this First Day Cover features Bobby Jones, founder of the Masters Golf Tournament on the cachet (the artwork on the envelope.)
How did we get this ? Back in 1977 a cover collector subscribed to the company producing the artwork (in this case Artcraft); it went into his collection. Eventually the collection was sold off and here it is today, over 25 years later, pristeen, well taken care of, unaddressed, and waiting to join your wall of Golf Treasures.
