On February 5, 1988, the USPS issued a set of four stamps to celebrate eight different Cat Breeds (two breeds on each stamp.) Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover for the Maine Coon and Burmese Stamp cancelled from the city of issue (New York City) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features full-color drawings of both cats...the magnificent Maine Coon, and the sleek, exotic Burmese.  This company has also printed a short commentary on the back of the envelope for each cat.  We have a made a copy for you.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
