On September 17, 1992, the USPS issued four different stamps commemorating Minerals. The four minerals appearing on the stamps are Azurite, Copper, Variscite, and Wulfenite. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with all four stamps cancelled from the city of issue (Washington DC) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The black and white cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a western scene and the four minerals. Historic, collectible, this is the second set of four stamps commemorating minerals issued by the US.
Double matted in green & white, this piece is sized to fit a standard 8 X 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
