On September 16, 1960, the USPS issued a stamp to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Mexican Independence. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Los Angeles, CA) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope) features the Bell of Hidalgo (also featured on the stamp) and Mexicans proclaiming independence in 1810.
Double matted in green & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
