On March 25, 1984, the USPS issued an imprinted postcard with the imprint or 'stamp' commemorating the 350th Anniversary of the Founding of Maryland.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, the postcard with the full-color imprint or 'stamp,' featuring the Ark & the Dove, the two ships bringing settlers and supplies, from the city of issue (St. Clement's Island, MD) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) also shows the Ark and Dove.  The company that produced this cover has also written a brief description of this event, which we've included.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity plus Commentary Included***
