On May 4, 1984, the USPS issued a set of four stamps celebrating four Summer Olympic Sports for the Games being hosted by Los Angeles. Shown here is an envelope with the stamp for Women's Long Jump cancelled from the city of issue (Los Angeles, CA) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a woman athlete competing in a sport that requires speed, strength and balance. The producer of this cover has also witten a short commentary about this sport.  Historic, collectible, this is a great piece of Olympic Memorabilia for the Track & Field event of the Long Jump.

Double matted in green & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity plus Commentary Included ***
