On November 19, 1948, the USPS issued a stamp to honor the 85th Anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. The 3 cent stamp features part of this speech. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope showing the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Gettysburg, Pa.) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a drawing of Lincoln. This is a collectible, historic piece of Presidential memorabilia.
Double matted in green & white, it will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
