This full-color art print featuring the work of Mort Kuntsler is poignantly titled, "...and the Two Generals Were Brought to Tears." The print shows both Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson on an estate called "Belvoir" just south of Fredericksburg, Virginia attending a revival in the spring of 1863. "They were said to have been 'moved to tears' by the eloquence of Rev. B.T. Lacy as he described the homes from which the Confederate army had been drawn."
It's joined by an uncancelled, collectible stamp that was issued March 23, 1937 depicting both Lee & Jackson with Lee's ancestral home, Stratford Hall, in the middle.
Matted in gray, this piece is sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.
