On June 13, 1987, the USPS issued a set of fifty stamps commemorating American Wildlife. One of these is the loveable Ladybug or Lady Beetle, whose spots can range from two to twenty-two!  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp, depicting a full-color view of a ladybug on a rose stem, cancelled from the city of issue (USPS Capex Station in Toronto Canada - to co-incide with the Canada Stamp Exposition) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a close-up view of a ladybug climbing up a stem.  Friends to farmers and gardeners alike, this is everyone's favorite 'bug.'

Double matted in green & white, this piece will fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
