Jury Duty....

On September 12, 2007, the USPS issued a stamp to honor the men and women who give their time and energy to further the legal process by doing Jury Duty.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the colorful 41-cents stamp, depicting twelve heads - all different - to symbolize the diversity of the people who serve, coming together and acting as one. The stamp is cancelled from the city of issue (New York, NY) on the first day of issue captioned above and marked 'First Day of Issue.'

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) is printed on silk and features the jury box.

Matted in blue, this piece is sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame.
