On October 15, 2004, the USPS issued a stamp commemorating Hanukkah, the Jewish Festival of Lights. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp, depicting a colorful dreidel, cancelled from the city of issue (New York, NY) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a menorrah and two dreidels in vibrant colors, made even more so by their being printed on silk, the luster lending an-almost three dimensional quality to the picture. The embossed gold frame around the cachet enhances the bright colors. This is one of several pieces of Postal Stamp Art celebrating Judaica offered by Wall Art Collectibles.
Double matted in blue & white, its sized to fit a standard 8 X 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
