In 1990, the USPS issued a set of four stamps honoring the Classic Movies of 1939. One of these stamps was for the movie Stagecoach, directed by John Ford, combining action-packed adventure with a complex set of characters. One of the characters was played superbly by John Wayne, depicted on the stamp. It is this stamp, uncancelled and collectible, that is paired with a photo print of an older, craggy-faced Wayne in a hat that would dwarf anyone else!
Matted in blue, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.
