On November 5, 1981, the USPS issued a stamp to honor the first President of the Continental Congress, John Hanson. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Frederick, MD) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a portrait of Hanson. A short commentary on Hanson and his many contributions to the American cause is included. Historic, collectible, this is one of many items honoring famous Americans offered by Wall Art Collectibles.

Double matted in green & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
