JAZZ New Orleans 1st Day of Issue Postal Cover....

On March 26, 2011, the USPS issued a Forever Stamp celebrating the truly American musical style - JAZZ.  Shown here is a genuine First Day of Issue Postal Cover, an envelope with the stamp depicting a female singer, a saxophonist, a pianist, a bass player, and a trumpeter incorporated into the word 'Jazz.'  This colorful stamp is cancelled from the city of issue (New Orleans, LA) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a female jazz singer accompanied by piano, in the same style and colors as the stamp.

Double matted in black & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 X 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity  Included***
