Jellyfish.....
On July 28, 1983, the republic of Palau issed a series of stamps commemoration various under-water life. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp, depicting the Jellyfish, cancelled from the city of issue (Koror) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features three Jellyfish - simple, delicate, and, at the same time, often dangerous to deadly creatures that ride the ocean's currents in a pulsating, rhythmic dance.
Double matted in blue and white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
