On June 17, 1983, the USPS issued a set of four airmail stamps celebrating four Summer Olympic Sports. Shown here is an envelope with the stamp for the Hurdles or Hurdling cancelled from the city of issue (San Antonio, TX) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a male hurdler.  It's printed on silk, giving the picture an almost 3-dimensional quality. Historic, collectible, this is a great piece of Olympic Memorabilia for the Track & Field event of Hurdling.

Double matted in green & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included ***
