On August 16, 1999, the USPS issued a stamp called Honoring Those Who Served. Shown here is a genuine First Day Issue, an envelope with the stamp depicting the American Flag cancelled from the city of issue (Kansas City, MO) on the first day of issue captioned above. The addition of the 1968 Law & Order Stamp issued in 1968 makes this cover a Combo.  The Law & Order Stamp was added to the envelope along with the Honoring Those Who Served Stamp, and then both were cancelled on the 'birthday' of the latter.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a Policeman. The picture is rendered in watercolors. Historic, collectible, this is a great piece of Police Memorabilia.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
