George W. Bush.... On January 20, 2005, George W. Bush was sworn in as the 42nd President of the United States for his second term. Shown here is a genuine Commemorative Inaugural Cover with the postmark "freezing" the date that the inauguration occurred. It is common for Inaugural Covers to also be cancelled from the hometown of the President. This cover was cancelled in Crawford, Texas where a special Inauguration Day Station was set up. The multiple stamps make up current postage, for without it the post office would not cancel. Note the specially designed postmark of the Capitol Dome and Texas Flag created for this 2005 Texas cancellation.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a portrait of the Bushes. Postal Stamp Art is proud to offer this collectible, historic piece of presidential memorabilia.
Double matted in blue & white, it will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.
