On July 2, 2003, the USPS issued 10 different stamps of animals making their homes in the Arctic Tundra. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the large full-color stamp for the Gray Wolf cancelled from the city of issue (Fairbanks, Alaska) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) shows a drawing of a gray wolf printed on silk. Paired with this beautiful first day cover, is a full-color art print featuring four wolves against the backdrop of a moonlit night.
Matted in blue with the print double matted with an interior mat of white, it's sized to fit a standard 11 X 14 picture frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
