Disney - Golf............

We start at the top with a Disney Art Print featuring the intrepid duo - player Mickey and caddy Goofy on a magical golf course.  Mickey's ball has just missed the 'Mouse Ears' sand trap and is now in perfect alignment for the green.  At the bottom is a genuine FIRST DAY OF ISSUE for GOLF. Issued in 1977 during the playing of the Masters in Augusta, Georgia, this First Day Cover cachet (artwork on the envelope) features  a golfer swinging to hit the ball to the green.  Notice how the colors compliment those in the print. The golf club-ball 13-cents imprint (treated as if it were a separate) is cancelled from the city of issue (Augusta) on the first day of issue (April 7, 1977.)  Separating the print and the cover are three uncancelled US stamps.  On the left is the 18-cents stamp honoring Bobby Jones, issued in 1981.  In the middle is the 1968 stamp honoring Walt Disney; and, on the right is the 1988 stamp honoring Francis Ouimet.

If you like your golf with a hint of Disney magic, you'll enjoy this unique piece from Postal Stamp Art on your wall.

It's matted in Green  to fit a standard  11 x 14 Frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
