On April 28, 1994, the USPS issued a set of stamps commemorating five different Garden Flowers. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp celebrating the Zinnia cancelled from the city of issue (Cincinnati, Ohio) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features four Zinnias in four different colors...truly the 'flowers of summer.' It's printed on silk, the luster lending an almost three dimensional quality to the picture. If you love flowers, especially Zinnias, this is a particularly lovely cover featuring a beautiful large full-color stamp and cachet.
Double matted in green and white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
