On April 28, 1994, the USPS issued a set of stamps commemorating five different Garden Flowers. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp celebrating the Marigold cancelled from the city of issue (Cincinnati, Ohio) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a close-up of Marigolds. It's printed on silk, the luster lending an almost three dimensional quality to the picture. If you love flowers, especially Marigolds, this is a particularly lovely cover featuring a beautiful large full-color stamp and cachet.
Double matted in green and white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
