On December 2, 1964, the USPS commemorated Fine Arts in America. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Washington, DC) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a black & white photo of the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. Historic, collectible, this is a very personal gift for an artist.

It's double matted in  blue & white and will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
