The Fellowship of the Ring - Souvenir Envelope First Day Cover - April 2002..........
April 5-7, 2002 marked the North Shore Philatelic Society Stamp Exhibition - Northpex 2002 in Aukland, New Zealand. In honor of this event, New Zealand reissued three of the stamps it had previously issued on December 4, 2001, in the form of a Souvenir Sheet. The three stamps depict Gandalf and Saruman, the Guardian of Rivendell, and Boromir, son of Denethor. The surrounding artwork features Gandalf as well as the Northpex logo. The stamps are cancelled on April 5, 2002 in Aukland, NZ. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
This is a genuine piece of Lord of the Rings New Zealand Postal Memorabilia. It's matted in green and sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame.
